Description
This paper analyzes violence against women in Ayacucho regional narrative, examining texts that reflect different forms of abuse in rural and urban contexts. The study aims to highlight how literature reproduces prejudices, stereotypes, and the naturalization of female subordination, portraying abuse as a male "right" and submission as a female ideal. Thus, it is evident that Ayacucho narrative, since its origins, has portrayed and, at times, legitimized patriarchal and androcentric perspectives that rarely question these practices.
